We've found Patches! :D

Story goes like this:
I went around putting up more posters this morning. At about 11am+ I received an SMS from someone asking about rewards.

All these while I was anxiously waiting for the person to reply my SMS whether I could meet, and the person took hours to reply me. I felt that he / she wasn't even sincere on wanting to return Patches to me, because the first SMS from this person was asking about rewards. So I gathered my friends on Facebook as well as Whatsapp and had some of them helping me to dig out some information on this person. It was alot of hard work, but a friend managed to get the block number of the owner to the mobile number.. and her name. Yes, it's a woman. And she stays opposite my block..!

I thanked my dear friend profusely & was prepared to go knock on each door of the block to find my Patches. And then another friend offered help, so I gave this friend the woman's number and then I have it: all her details including her unit number and her photo. I cannot thank this friend enough!

After that I gathered a few close friends and together we went up to the unit. I saw that the wooden door wasn't closed so I took a quick glance inside the house. Right there & then, I saw my Patches. I called out her name. She responded immediately and ran over to the gate, at the same time squeezing herself through the grills just to get to me. I also saw the woman in the same house, she was stunned for a while. Then she walked over to unlock her gate.

I asked her, "Is this your dog?"

She didn't replied. I repeated my question again, "Is this your dog?"

The woman then said a soft "No."

I couldn't remember exactly what else I screamed at her.. but I was angry. Just as I was about to walk away with my group of friends who were holding on to Patches, the woman cried.

I told her, "Do you know how much I've cried over losing my dog? I had been having sleepless nights! I am the one that should be crying..!"

She rebutted, saying that she had loved my dog, and had taken good care of her.. That she thought Patches was abandoned.. blah blah blah. Also said that I only started to look for my dog after 3 days of her missing. What nonsense when I had placed posters up in the estate the next day after Patches went missing, but some were removed by those general cleaners so today I went another round of putting up those posters again. And thank God I did!

I gave her a piece of my mind, saying that she wasn't even sincere in wanting to return Patches to me because her first SMS to me was all about the rewards, and that she refused to reply my SMS, pick up my calls and meet me. I knew right then that I was almost losing my temper when my friends stepped in to cool me down. Oh, and the part about her saying that she worked retail hours, my sources told me that her job is similar to what I am doing, as well as the flexible hours.

When she said again that she had wanted to call me, I asked her "When?"

She defended herself by saying that she just reached home after work (it was about 830pm when we went up). I didn't buy that excuse, because she was in her pajamas when we were talking to her, and surely if she cared enough she would have replied my SMS or return my calls on her way home or whatsoever. But she didn't. If you have noticed, my last SMS to her was at 737pm. As if that didn't gave her enough time to reply, I don't know what else to say.

She claimed that she brought my dog to the vet cos of her skin problems. I told her I'd reimburse her the fees, but i needed the receipt, which she couldn't produce. I took a quick check on Patches, it seems that her skin had flared up slightly but I reckon it's due to the stress of being in an unfamiliar environment for the past few days. Her skin had actually cleared up long ago after I shaved her down a month ago.

Anyway, the woman kept declining to take my money. I insisted for quite some time before she finally agreed to take it. I only offered her a $50 note, I know it's not alot but that was meant for reimbursement of the vet fees anyway.

So here is our dear Patches now, I had her collar & tag on for her. She may not be in her tip top condition now, but I am so glad and happy that I found her again :D

Zen & Patches

Amidst juggling my busy schedule ever since Megan came along.. I had long forgotten to update my blog here till today when the saddest thing happened: my Patches somehow wandered out of the house in the mid-morning / early afternoon of today and never did return :(

I came back at slightly over 7pm today to an unusually bark-less house. Something wasn't right. Then I realised Patches wasn't there to greet me when I unlocked the gate. I settled Megan onto her highchair immediately and went around the house looking for Patches. I called out her name.. No sight of her anywhere. Tried to lure her out from her hiding - which she always did whenever she does something wrong when I'm out for work; still no sight of her. I began to panic and told my husband about it. He too went around all corners of the house, scout under each table & chair, behind the fridge & freezer.. We couldn't find our Patches :(

Husband asked his mother about Patches.. She seems suspiciously calm. Said nobody came about to visit today, therefore she did not open the gate and the dogs didn't step outside. My heart grew heavy because when we were frantically calling out for Patches and searching all over the house for her, hub's mother showed no concern and never asked why. I do not know what to feel.

But I know Patches left home in the mid-morning / early afternoon because she did not soiled her pee tray before I left.. and I came home to a clean tray still. Lots of things going through my mind. I made hubby probe his mother further as she is the only one at home with the dogs today, and definitely someone came because I found a receipt from the gas company dated today, which means she ordered a tank of gas for the kitchen and they delivered it the same day. Hub's mother denied - she insist that the gas tank delivery guy came YESTERDAY, which didn't made sense to me cos I did not saw the receipt last night.

Few moments later, she told hubby that Patches actually ran out on her own once some time back but her maid managed to locate Patches few hours later. What made me more angry is that the maid actually told hub's mother not to tell me about it! How could they do this to me? This could have been prevented have i known earlier that my Patches actually escaped home once.

Patches had never liked strangers; humans and dogs included. I really doubt that she would leave home just like that, because she NEVER leave home without us telling her to and she would NEVER leave her best pal Zen behind. My heart is bleeding as I type this entry. I hope whoever that found her or took her would take good care of her.. Or else please have mercy and return her to me. I may not be the best caretaker for her, but she grew to be so much more affectionate towards those who loved her since she came to me.

I don't have recent photographs of her, I feel so sad about it. But recently I shaved her down as she was having some bad skin due to someone else at home fed her junks while I wasn't around.

Patches is microchipped, I have already lodged to Petcall about her went missing.

hello all!

the stork had came by on the 8th Oct, and delivered me my baby Megan :)

she weighs 3.34kg at birth. the doggies have been really sweet and understanding since Megan's arrival. they are very curious about this new addition in our family, and would always wanted to sniff her out especially after Megan had poo-ed! they get very anxious when Megan cries..

one thing I am very glad of is that Megan isn't the least terrified of the dogs' barking at all. she didn't jerk one bit when the dogs bark at our visitors. I guess she must have gotten used to their barking sounds when she was still in my tummy :)

Such good grammars this person have. Gotta thank him / her for reading this blog, though :) But why so chicken, didn't leave any names? I bad-mouthed alot of people, I really couldn't pinpoint exactly which one of them you are. At least I don't act noble or plead innocent. I am human afterall :)

On a more serious note, baby's progressing into week-38 now! The furballs are getting more and more sticky to me; I guess they knew that their baby sibling's arriving soon. Am already on maternity leave now, anxiously awaiting for baby's arrival.. Catch up again soon!

Zen: Mummy's so FAT

HELP!~

Our mummy had recently grew so fat that she had trouble getting in and out of bed every day! She even walk at very slow pace now! Seriously, I don't recall seeing her ever this fat all my life.. What happened to our mummy? Daddy had been spotted always rubbing and talking to mummy's fat tummy nowadays, I'm beginning to think he'd lost his mind. The hoomans have also recently added a squarish thing into our room which they called the 'Baby's Wardrobe' and filled it with lots of cutesy and nice smelling clothings meant for Patches' size.. And then we also heard that daddy's gonna set up the 'Baby Cot' soon. What's happening?!!

A few weeks ago, mummy brought home a lady whom we now fondly called Auntie E. According to mummy, Auntie E is our helper and she will be staying with us to help around with the household chores. I love Auntie E cos she had been bringing me for my daily potty breaks and also had been playing with me while mummy is away at work. Auntie E had also been very hardworking in keeping our home clean. Mummy & daddy is very pleased with her performance so far. We hope to have Auntie E around for good as not many people knows how to handle us and play with us..

Oh dear.. I hadn't been reading up on some blog updates and decided that today I shall do some catching up to see what everyone's been up to. Got a shock when I realised that our dear friend GiGi will be put to sleep on this coming Friday.

Please pray for dear GiGi; she had been such a dear friend to her mummy and to my Patches. May dear GiGi be released from all her pain and sufferings; may she run free and happy over at the rainbow bridge.

Zen: We're all clear

Following up on our check-up report with the bioresonance machine, mummy had been monitoring us for a while. So Patches and I went for our blood test last week, and we were given the all clear from our vet! Thank you all of you for your kind words and support given to us and our mummy!

We're not very sure about how accurate the bioresonance machine is, but surely there had been some concern over why Patches had not been gaining weight for the past one year (she had been losing weight instead.. only 3kg now!). While I on the other side gained some 500g+ as i now weight at about 8.5kg. Mummy says I'm a big girl now, but I don't really mind.. I know that I'll always be mummy's little girl at heart :)

As for Patches, the poor girl is all skin and bones.. she doesn't seem to be growing any meat or fats on herself even though she eats alot. Mummy will take the vet's advise to increase Patches' food intake to about 2x the current portion.. which means she will be eating the same portion as I am! I do hope little P will gain at least some weight or grow some fatty meat so that mummy wouldn't be so worried. She is still as active and naughty though.

My grandmama (that's my mummy's mummy) is in town since last Thursday, and mummy is so happy about it. She hasn't been able to go back to her hometown since January this year, and had been missing my grandpapa and grandmama heaps. Grandmama accompany mummy for a shopping spree to prepare for the arrival of our new baby hooman sibling, which is coming very soon! Gosh, I am so excited and a tad nervous at the same time.. Mummy had been telling us that our new baby hooman sibling would be a baby girl, and that we would have to love her like how we love mummy at the same time. I'm not too sure if I could do that, but if our new baby hooman sibling could feed us yummies then I don't think I'd mind having her around!

Nat: Bioresonance for Pets

Anyone heard of this Bioresonance for pets treatment?

I was introduced to this treatment some time back when I attended the "Better Owner Better Dog" seminar organised by the Pets Magazine a few weeks ago. Since they offered me free check-up for both my girls, and the procedure is very simple, I thought, WHY NOT? And so I went for the complimentary check-up last Sat evening.. Wasn't expecting anything major in particular, I was just curious about how the machine works in the non-evasive way (the pet just have to sit still on top of a mat) to diagnose internal problems, if any.

After the check-up, I was then briefed on the report for both the girls.. Was a tad taken aback when I was told that the machine diagnosed both of them to be having serious kidney problems.

Many thoughts ran through my head.. thoughts like did I do something wrong? Fed them the wrong diet? Toilet training habits?

I was then told to bring my 2 girls for a thorough blood test at the vet clinic to confirm if the machine diagnostic was correct.

I googled and read up on kidney problems on dogs, realised that those dogs with kidney problems are put on BARF diet for easier absorption of nutrients.. Hmm, my girls had been on BARF for more than a year now, so I'm guessing that the part about the diet went wrong is out. Moving on to my next suspicion, which is toilet habits, both the girls have very different toilet habits! Patches is indoor-trained, therefore she gets to go pee/poo as and when she feels like it. While Zen is outdoor-trained, she only gets to go pee/poo when we bring her out for walks.

So what went wrong??? How accurate is this Bioresonance really? I will monitor the girls for a while more before deciding if I should send them for the complete blood test, as advised by a close friend. Please do pray for us..

Zen: lack of updates

We're so sorry we've been lacking of updates recently. We'd just want to let you all know that we're all doing fine and having fun pouncing on each other. The weather is crazy nowadays.. It can get so hot that I am literally sweating from my paws. Well, remember to take in more fluids, pals, and don't get dehydrated! My mummy is so afraid of the hot blazing sun in the late evening that she refused to bring me down for my evening walkie until the sun sets! Can't blame her as she don't want to risk me getting heatstroke in this kind of weather.

We hope to be able to update this blog more often. Meanwhile, let me end this post by sharing a pic of mummy's fat tummy..

yoooohooooooo!~

I am back! Thanks to all friends that were concerned about my health, I am now well and alive! :) Mumy suspected I might just have caught the flu bug or something, but I regained my health the very next day and was back to my usual self again. Patches had been so sweet, she slept and snuggled close to me that whole night when I was sick :) Gotta say I do love her some times when she wasn't her usual bossy self..

Mummy's stomach had been growing like it's nobody's business. She even eat and sleep like a pig! I really felt cheated of my walkies now as mummy doesn't feel like walking me for longer distance.. Well.. can't blame her too much as she said she getting tired really easily. I'll just have to make do with whatever I was given, and mummy seems real pleased with me. She gives me more pats and belly rubs now when I behave myself better :)

Off to take my nap soon, catch up with you all again next time!

Nat: my Zen is sick..

Totally freaked me out last night when Zen wouldn't respond to me, even when I tempt her with food. She appeared to be lethargic, abit shaky and stoned.. I couldn't sleep well whole night, worrying about her as I don't know what went wrong. Baby girl refused to even put her head down to rest until very late at night.. Even then, I would still wake up every now and then to check on her and make sure that she isn't in pain or anything. I would have rushed her to the vet first thing this morning if her conditions didn't improve, but luckily it did. Zen appeared much more responsive than last night, and she showed interest in food when comes feeding time. Am going home straight after work to monitor her again.. Pray that she is well!

Zen: we're not missing, just busy

Hi all!

Sorry we had not been able to update our bloggie for quite some time.. Mummy had been busy these days with all those meet ups with friends and families, and also our maternal grandpawrents were in town visiting last week! I love my maternal grandpapa very much cos he knows how to massage me just at the correct places. I wished they could've stayed longer but they went back to their home sweet home after only a short 3 days stay :(

Mummy was also super excited that her pawrents came visiting as she hadn't had the chance to go home to visit them since January this year.. They even brought alot of goodies for mummy, knowing that mummy misses home very much. How sweet of them :)

We hope to have more time to update this blog soon, mummy has been feeling so lethargic lately that all she wants to do is laze in bed and rest. She told us that we'd be expecting a new sibling pretty soon, I wonder how my new sibling looks like..

Patches: stock-up day

Last friday was stock-up day for our freezer. Our food supply was depleting, mummy went to the wet market to get fresh meats and veggies for us to last for at least a whole month. She even brought us along! But we only get to stay in the car with daddy while mummy went to get our yummies..

So then I waited patiently in the car. I looked to the left..

and looked to the right..

but there were no signs of mummy returning anytime soon. And all these while I was busy looking around sniffing for mummy, Zen was sleeping away!

*snore* *snore* *snore*

Couldn't she at least show a little concern?! Gosh! Luckily mummy returned like 15 minutes later. I was so happy I jumped around in the car's backseat, trying to reach out to my mummy and kissed her. Zen only tried to whack me with her ever furious tail wagging motion.. *ouch*

Afterwards, mummy and daddy brought us along for their breakfast session in our neighbourhood. The coffeeshop workers they all liked us very much, so we have no problems tagging along.

It's been too long eversince mummy had been able to snap decent pictures of that black dog, so while waiting for her breakfast to arrive, she snapped this pic of Zen.. A little over-exposed, but at least you all can now finally see her features!

Back at home, we were tired out after the whole morning of constant waiting and begging for food that we had rest.. Now would you all please excuse us while take our beauty sleep.. *yawnzzz*

Patches: Day out in a carrier

Early Friday morning, mummy chunked me into my long-forgotten carrier and out we go. First stop: we went to meet this goldie with long armpit fur..

I have a feeling that this goldie is in love with me.. Why, you asked?

He was all over me while I was present! Kept sniffing me and my butt butt.. and following me around like good ol' bodyguard :) If you haven't noticed.. he is in the background of this picture too!

Next stop: VIVOCITY!

We met up with lots of overly excited hoomans.. Mummy identified them as Auntie Z (Twinkle's mum), Auntie S (Boo Casanova's mum), Auntie K (Rossi's mum), Auntie L (Goofy's mum) and also Auntie Eil (that's Bae Bae's Eil). I got spooked by Auntie L and then I couldn't resist but to barked at her.. Can't blame me, I'm just a small timid little girl! But later on I found out that they were all really nice! Sorry, Auntie L!

The hoomans then shopped around Vivocity for hours end while I sat comfortably in mah carrier, being carried around like a toy by Auntie Jenn. Many bypassers went "ooooh" and "aaaaah" over how cute I looked when I sat still in my carrier :)

Later that day they went for their Korean BBQ dinner.. And I wasn't allowed to join them so mummy left me in the car with all 4 windows winded down 1/4. Weather was cooling so I slept through the period mostly as I was pretty exhausted. Mummy did came and checked on me during dinner, and she let me out for my potty break and some stretching excercise before putting me back into the car again. I had been a very good girl on that day!

Uno has most probably found a suitable forever home! Our mummy heard that Uno is now doing great at one of the potential adopter's place.. And we're so glad that we had helped in spreading the words on forums and our blog :)

Moo Moo is still searching for his forever home though.. Please please, kind souls out there, would you give Moo Moo a chance to live with you forever?

On another note: HURRAY!~ words has it that some of our bloggers friends (umm.. most likely their mummies, actually) across the causeway are coming to visit tomorrow! Can I expect some huggies and maybe some petties please?

You guys remember the cute french bulldog Moo Moo? Well.. apparently something happened and he is now still looking for a good home. Nobody's at fault here as Moo Moo's owners weren't firm with their decisions at that point of time.

Please do help spread the words, Moo Moo is still looking for a good home! And so is Moo Moo's brother, Uno. Some pics of them:

A little bit more info about them:

Uno is coming 5 this July. He is sterilised and microchipped. He is overall healthy, but he has slight seperation anxiety so he tends to whine when left alone in the house. He will do well in a household that has another dog to accompany him; this is proven as he didn't have separation anxiety after they gotten Moo Moo. Uno is also paper-trained. And he gets along fairly well with all dogs.

Moo Moo will be turning 2 this August. He is also sterilised and microchipped. Moo Moo is healthy and playful. He doesn't get along well with other dogs except Uno, so we would want him to go to a home that does not have an existing dog at home (meaning, he has to be the only dog in the household). However, we do believe that his behaviour can be corrected as he is still so young and he is eager to learn. Moo Moo has problem with excitement pee. He will pee when he is too excited (i.e.: during playtime and when praised). He is toilet-trained and is overall healthy.

I will also be posting info of their adoption on several dog forums based in Singapore.. If you are interested in adopting any one of them, please do leave me a comment with your contacts and I shall be contacting you shortly.

Nadia had gone to her new home for close to 2 months.. Last night I sms-ed her new owner to get some updated pictures of her and today I receive them in my inbox. I also quote from her new owner:

"Nadia is getting naughtier - she wakes up at 5 am in the morning and demands that she be taken for a walk! She is also getting used to apartment living though I can tell that she loves the outdoors. She turns deaf when she sees birds. Once she spots birds, no matter how loud you call her, she doesn't respond.

But she's happy, healthy and very sweet."

Good news everyone!

Moo Moo has found a loving home! He will be going to his new home this coming weekend.. So happy for him! His new owner is absolutely amazing with dogs, and I trust that he will be able to take very good care of Moo Moo :)

Look at his beautiful face! OMG.. If anyone is wondering, he is a French Bulldog. And no, he is not the new addition to our family. He is looking for a good home.

His name is Moo Moo. I guess it's becuase of his colour that resembles a cow. The boy is only 1.5 years old, and is already neutered. He is an affectionate dog and loves to play with toys. A friend of mine had invited us to join this project called The PUPPY MILL Link Exchange Project, where people get together and share their views on this topic and also to raise awareness regarding the appalling treatment that puppy mill dogs receive.

If you have not noticed yet, I have placed a new flash button on the sidebar panel that will bring you to dead_cockroach's Xanga blog post about this topic. Kudos to him for starting this project, I really hope this would create more awareness about puppy mills and how they operate.

Apart from just putting up the flash button in this blog, I am also supposed to do a write-up on my thoughts & opinions about puppy mills. So here goes:

So what's puppy mills, you asked? A simple Google search on these 2 words would give you thousands of results on it. I quote one example from Wikipedia:

"Puppy mills, sometimes known as puppy farms, are large-scale dog breeding facilities that operate under substandard breeding conditions, causing the development of chronic health problems, temperament issues, and hereditary defects in puppies that come from the mills. The high numbers of euthanized animals (4 million dogs per year in U.S.) has led animal rights advocates to oppose the mass breeding of pet animals, a view that the profitable breeding industry opposes."

When you walk pass petshops or farms showcasing those cutesy cutesy little puppies, have you ever wondered where they came from? They looked cute alright, but what about their parents? Are they in good shape as well? Did you know that most puppies won't display their defects, if any at all, until they're much older? Which is why petshops / petfarms they sell puppies at very young age, and as these puppies grew well into 5 or 6 months old, their pricetag is slashed by almost HALF.

Many purchase on impulse, while some others are just looking for an easy way out after being "sick and tired of going through rounds of so-called screenings and interviews just to adopt one dog". I do believe there are some that don't even know that dog shelters do exists. And many people that I know look down on people like me, who adopt dogs from shelters or someone else's home, because they think that people like me are cheapskates who only wants free dogs. I don't get a high out of boosting about how much I paid for purchasing my dogs simply because I know my dogs are priceless eventhough I got them for free (literally).

I shall share with you stories of how my dogs came to me.

Zen was result of an accident; a case of negligent by the 'shelter' owner who was housing a female cocker spaniel and a male mini schnauzer at that point of time. The lady 'claimed' to have not noticed that the female cocker was on heat, thus did not separate these 2 dogs while she was out. And then came the difficult labour 2 months later, where the female cocker couldn't give birth naturally. 'Shelter' lady only realised female cocker was in labour after she returned home from work (which was most probably about a few hours after the initial contraction started). Female cocker was rushed into a vet clinic for a C-section. There were 5 puppies, only 3 survived; the other 2 died of suffocation. I learnt about this 'shelter' from a forum friend of mine who goes by the nickname Dango. So after I gathered all the info, and made my way down to the 'shelter' located in Sembawang. And then it was love at first sight. The lady brought out 2 female puppies that looked almost identical, but my heart was already set on this one:

She was the tiniest of the lot, and the one with the sweetest face I could imagine. Anyway, long story cut short, I paid a deposit to the lady and returned to collect the puppy 2 weeks later. Yes, I paid a sum of money. The amount was supposedly used to cover cost of the c-section incurred to the mother dog. But hey, I adopted a puppy from a 'shelter'! And she is all grown up now, to become the wonderful Zen that I know and love today.

As for Patches, I adopted her in Nov '07 from a family who has another female maltese. The reason that they have to give her up for adoption was because she couldn't get along with the other maltese and they always fight. Patches was also very shy and timid at that point of time, because she seldom leave the house. The previous owner, A, is a single mum with a young boy, and she couldn't spare enough time to train Patches. And Patches was not bought by her or anything.. She was handed over to A by another friend who couldn't cope with a very young puppy. So guys, please be nice to A :) Anyway, I could say that I got Patches for free because I only reimbursed the cost of her sterilisation to A. Even if I got Patches as unsterilised, I'd still send her for the procedure so it doesn't make any difference. One year down the road, Patches had became a much more friendly and outgoing dog. A vast difference from how she used to behave when I just got her. So yeah, I adopted her too.. And I was not even really looking into adopting a 2nd dog urgently. She came to me on the right time :)

I also want to address the issue on the myths about how adopted dogs are harder to train, and that shelter dogs are problematic dogs. Zen, a shelter dog, is really far from being problematic. I can safely say that she is actually by far alot more obedient than many other dogs I know. Patches, being and adopted dog, is now very much better trained than she used to be. She can be walked off leashed and her recall is good. No more super shy and timid dog, Patches now allows strangers to pet her and she would initiate to go over to sniff them.

Back to the topic, I always believe in this term of 'No Demand, No Supply'. No demand of those cutesy puppies you see in the petshop, therefore no supply from those backyard breeders / puppy mills. Perhaps many had chosen to ignore the fact that they are directly / indirectly supporting these puppy mills buy purchasing a dog from the petshop (no matter how reputable they are). You don't know how these dogs are treated behind closed doors. Next time you walk pass a petshop, think of the puppies' poor parents. Being used as breeding machine, churning out litter after litter, heat after heat. Worst is, parents with bad genes passing down defects to those poor innocent puppies.

Adopt is a better option. Give these animals a chance, they deserves to be loved just like any other dogs too.

... about that new machine that mummy had been raving about, you say?

Mummy had went to the market on Sat morning, and came back with many yummies.. She then took out that machine, and start to work for the whole morning and afternoon. We could only stand at the kitchen entrance and sniff while mummy was busy walking here and there; chopping this and mixing that.

If you think thats alot of veggies, well that is only about a quarter of the LOT that mummy bought. We have carrots, Xiao Bai Cai, Kai Lan and brocollis. So in they go into the mighty machine..

And 5 minutes later..

A full load of veggie puree! With no water added! It looked a tad watery, but that's the juice from the veggies itself.

All the ingredients above were then mixed with pork liver and raw beef. They all went into the machine and the outcome is...

Our balanced diet prepared by mummy dearest

We now have 20-over trays of these frozen foodies in our freezer, that could last us for about a month. Initially mummy had wanted the machine (mummy: thats a food processor, dear..) to blend our veggies into pulp because the normal blender takes a loooooong time to do the job and mummy had to keep adding water to it, which makes our veggie pulp very watery and icky.. now she could just dump the veggies into the machine and the outcome is perfect w/o the access water :) Then she got the idea of trying to blend in everything into our meals so that we could have thaw-and-feed easy feeding (resembles to Dr B patties). Of course the whole preparation is time-consuming, but mummy is satisfied that she knows what is being put into the food that we are eating.

Oh, meanwhile mummy also gotten some pork ribs for me from the wet market. It looked like this:

Hey guys!

A very belated Happy Chinese Niu Year to ya all out there! We had been so busy over at the vacation resort that we didn't have time to blog.

Well, now that our mummy is back in SG she had ferried us back to our home sweet home on early Sunday morning. Mummy had went on a short trip back to her hometown @ Ipoh to visit her parents during the CNY period, and daddy went together with her so there was nobody at home that could handle us 2 rascals. Mummy had us checked in at the ~~boot camp~~ vacation resort for 4 days and 4 nights. Well I did my best over at the vacation resort and the hoomans there just loved me! Little Patches was a little sneakish.. she put on a fake mask and pretended to be angelic! But that's not that bad really, I didn't get bullied by her for 4 days 4 nights. Hiak hiak hiak hiak.. I had a good time there getting to meet new doggie friends of all sizes.

Back at our home sweet home, mummy came home last night with a huge box. We couldn't figure out what it is.. Hmm.. it smells nothing like food and definitely looks nothing like food either. Mummy was so excited over this thing in the box that she spent a good ONE HOUR inspecting it. We sniffed and sniffed and got shooed away by mummy. She told us to wait till weekend to show us what this thing does. Well that thing had better be something useful for us or else I'm gonna sulk for the whole weekend to come.

And oh hey, mummy just called me a while ago to tell me she had gotten some new plastic containers..

No cooking of our food. Cos we eat raw. Some days ago, Boo Boo was cooking for his small village. That inspired me to do something similar to my tiny little village at my home too. I made mummy do the same for us, minus the steaming / cooking.

We had minced beef, mixed with one whole raw egg and sprinkled with extra finely pounded eggshell.

Pardon me for my lack of posts. Mummy and patches had been hogging the lappie for so long that I lost count.. or had I been sleeping for too long..? hmm.. NEVER MIND!

Anyone remembered this post about spotting the difference? One of it is not me..

presenting.... Scruffy!

The story goes like this:

One fine day, a lady came by our blog and noticed that I looked very much like her pet dog named Scruffy. In her mind she was already thinking, "Why this person kept posting pictures of my dog on her blog..?" Than as she read further, she discovered that I'm not Scruffy. She was so excited that she actually dropped me a few messages on my CBox, asking my mummy to contact her by email os they could exchange more photos.

And so Scruffy's mummy sent my mummy some very nice photos of Scruffy. My mummy was equally as excited when she saw those pics, especially when she learnt that Scruffy is in agility and obedience. She had wanted to enrol me in agility all along, but due to my weak hind legs she had to forgo her wish. And knowing that there's a Zen look-alike out there doing agility, a large part of her wish had actually came true..

It's not every day that you'll get to see another dog that look like me.. PArtially because I am a cross breed and you know crosses can come out a thousands type :) so do you guys think we look alike? no?

..all the well wishes! I have recovered from my diarrhea spells :) I feel so much better now that my stomach doesn't churn anymore, and mummy had resumed my 2-meals a day regime rather than fasting me.

Recently I overheard mummy telling daddy that she can't understand why I don't seems to be putting on any significant weight even when she fed me 2x my usual portions during meal time.. and Zen seems to be putting on weight ever so easily! Well, mummy, I think you shouldn't be complaining cos I know many girls would die to be like me! Imagine eating alot and not gaining those unwanted pounds (and FATS).. Who wouldn't be jealous, huh? To top it off, I have a face thats too cute to be true too!

And you know why Zen gains weight so easily?

That's right. Follow the direction that I'm looking.

Never mind that dead pig.. Mummy bought some new stuff for us again. Pictured here is a Chitocure Revita-Coat Serum for my bootiful long tresses, a Doggyman nail clipper, a Chris Christensen Buttercomb, and lastly a goodie bag from Loving Pets.. Inside the goodie bag has a can of Nutripe, a treat, and tagged to the bag there is a lottery ticket.

Mummy only bought one bag as she had never tried feeding us Nutripe before and was unsure if we would take it. But the goodie bag is a good buy, priced at only SGD5!

Off to a fruitful Chinese New Year. Huat arh!~

I had been sick for the past few days.. One day I had bad tummy ache that I wasn't behaving like my usual self (or so, mummy says). I didn't go all crazy when it was feeding time; I'd just lie down flat on the floor and whined away. When mummy cradled me, I'd whine too cos my tummy kept churning and churning.. Next thing I know, I passed out soft watery stools resembles that of diarrhea. Mummy was pretty upset that she had to wash my butt butt again and again, but I can feel that mummy was more upset when she see my face like this..

Oh how do I wish I'd recover soon..

Nat: Re-naming Luna / Introducing Essential Oil

Five days have passed since Luna (now renamed Nadia) gone to her new home.

I wonder if she is happy there.

Many thoughts run through my head as is type this.

Is she enjoying her life now?

Is she obedient?

Does her new mama and papa love her?

Will she remember me?

Gawd, I miss her so much. I didn't know I would love her this much despite the short 2 weeks time she spent with me. Looking forward to see her again soon, when her new parents settles for a date for meet-up.

Every time I miss her now, I will hug my 2 others. Zen seems especially sticky and manja these days, now that Luna (Nadia) is gone. Patches had gone back to her usual self of bossing around Zen.

On another note, I finally got down to introducing essential oil into our lives. Had actually been using Citronella and Eucalyptus for the girls as part of preventive for ticks and fleas. I add these into their shampoo, and occasionally drip one or two drop (of either Citronella or Eucalyptus) on their scuff area. So far none of them ever had tick infestation, as compared to previously when they were on Frontline they still get some ticks every now and then.

Now I have added some more varieties like Ylang Ylang, Lavender, and Orange (Bitter) into our home; not to apply on the girls but added to a burner. I sleep better these days, and the girls they love linger in the room when I am burning any one type of the oil. I also had mixed a concoction for massage; using Grapeseed Oil as carrier, adding Ylang Ylang & Lavender in it - approximately about 10 drops of essential oils to 10ml of carrier oil. I tried massaging some on the girls to relax them, they loved it! Perhaps it's the massage motion and not the oil, they refused to budge after the massage session hahahas..

Hope Luna will be well loved and doted by her new family. Her new parents were head over heels in love with her yesterday!

Previously was named GirlGirl, I figured I'd give her a new name to signify a new beginning for her new life. Thus she is now fondly called Luna, and she responds to it.

My order from Doggyfriend.com came last night.. Finally gotten to replace Zen's old water bowl to a Yogi water bowl. She had been using a Drink Better Bowl for close to 2 years. Initially had wanted to tried to Yogi water bowl but was told that the Drink Better Bowl is made of heavier plastic, thus chances of flipping it over is low. Zen used to be confined in a 3ft x 3ft pen whenever we are out of the house, and she likes to play with her water bowl and made a point to flip it upside down.. Now that she gets free access to the whole house, she doesn't play with the water bowls anymore.

Both bowls worked the same way; each have a 'floater' on the surface to prevent wetting of the dog's beard when drinking water from it. And I recently found out that the Drink Better Bowl starts to emit a funny smell from its plastic surface.. Also, the floater is not working very well so I guess it's time to change it and I'll get the Yogi that I've always wanted.

More Nature1 treats for the girls. They loved it, and I love feeding to them cos they're healthy and organic chew treats. This time round I've gotten the Chewy Chewies, Spare Ribs (2 packs) and am trying out this Tasty Tripe. Even Patches the lazy chewer had taken a liking to this Nature1 treats. Needless to say, Zen is always a foodie junkie.

Oh, and I love the bowl :) I'm a big fan of Powda products. I think they're great inventions. A little bit pricey, but they're good! And in case you didn't know, Doggyfriend offers a wide range of products and their prices are one of the lowest in town. How's that for an online pet store? Their delivery service is prompt and flexible too. You all should try their service. I always order my stuff from them. Two thumbs up for the excellent service, Isabelle :)

On another note, was so proud of my Zen this morning. While on our morning walks, we met this male dog with some Pom blood, most probably a mix with Maltese (I think). Zen was all alert, wanting to go over to greet him. So proud of my baby cos she didn't go crazy, jumping and whining like she does when she usually sees other dogs. She promptly sat down when I told her "Sit", and waited when I told her to wait before I gave her the permission to go over with an "Okay". Little girl didn't even tugged me to go over when I said OK, but casually walked over (with her tail wagged a million times per second, nonetheless) :)

This definitely made my day today. I'm in a superb good mood!

Hello all.. I just realised someone posted a question to ask my mummy whether I was being given up, as my pics appeared on Bond's and Boo Boo's blogs for the past few days. Just to clarify, my mummy did not, and I repeat, DID NOT, give me up for adoption.

Mummy went to Bali for work for a few days.. And daddy couldn't handle my long coat or tie my topknots for me, so mummy decided to ask Auntie J (that's Bond and Boo Boo's GG) for help to look after me. Afterall, a girl's hands are always much more gentle than of a guy's. right? :) Auntie J, being the first time caretaker for a long coated doggie like me, did very well in combing me and tying up my topknots. I enjoyed myself through out my stay with Auntie J for 5 days. More about my 'holidays' please visit Boo Boo and Bond's blogs, yeah? :) Oh, Uncle T (Auntie J's friend) who fetched us that day, commented to my mummy that I'm a sweet sweet girl.. hehehe..

Mummy also made us pose with the Nature's 1 chew treats she bought; 3 packs in all - Spare Ribs, Chewy Chewies (beef tendon), and Lamb Munchies (lamb ears). It says on the pack that these are all organic chew treats. We have had the Spare Ribs before, it's yummy and good to chew!

Nat: Zen turns 3 / Patches' 1st anniversary with us

Wow.. time really flies. Zen would be turning 3 years old this month, on the 13th to be exact. In doggie years, she would be 21! Does this means that she is finally an adult? Hmmm.. But I do noticed that my once hyperactive Zen (hence the blog title - hyperzen) had mellowed down a lot recently. She became more quiet and more laidback when at home, though she does go crazy most of the times when she sees other doggies outside.

And this month also marks the full 1 year that Patches had been with me. She came to me on early November last year; and I celebrated her 2nd barkday in May this year. How time really flies.. Patches has now became a huge part of my life, sharing the other huge part alongside Zen (and the remainder goes to the hubby, of course).

I can't help but wonder how messed up I would be in years to come when the time for any one of them is up.. How did they even managed to melt my heart in the first place? Would I be able to cope with losing them? Maybe I had been over-reacting, since they're both still so young. Either way, I wish for them to lead a more fulfilling life..

Happy birthday, my dear darling Zen. Words can't describe how much I love you. Thank you for pawing me every morning when I refused to wake up after the alarm goes off. Thank you for your unconditional love. I love you. And to my baby Patches, you are always a handful for me to handle. But I love you just as much. The past year had been a great one. Thank you for letting me love you and for trusting me. I know it's been hard for you, but we shall work on it together, yeah?

Well mummy is going to bring ME along. Neh ni neh ni boo boo, Zen cannot go cos she went out with mummy to the beach yesterday w/o me! But I know today is just going to be as fun as yesterday (Nat: her idea of fun is barking her head off at innocent strangers trying to touch her. More about that later in this post..). Oh, oh, and Auntie E of Barkers Grub and Auntie A of Woofy's Choice is going to be there too! *drools* Both of them bakes the most delicious food in town! And safe for everydoggie's consumption, of course.

The other day mummy was talking to Auntie B (Paw's mama), recalling a past experience of how people go ga-ga over me and my cuteness.. *thick skinned* The situation goes something like this:

Mummy and Auntie B were walking us (me, Zen and Paw.. Yoyo was not with us yet at that point of time) towards ECP McDonalds to grab their dinner. Knowing that McDonalds now do not allow us to dine in their premises anymore, the hoomans decided that mummy should go in to pack dinner while Auntie B would stand outside while watching over us 3.

Then this lady with 2 young children walked past us; and this was what she told her children:

Mother of 2: *points to Paw* This one too big, will bite, don't touch.
Auntie B: *frowned*
Mother of 2: *points to Zen* This one black black, looks fierce, don't touch.
Auntie B: *huh? frowns more*
Mother of 2: *points to me* This one small small, so cute, can touch. Go. Go. *ushers her 2 small kid towards me*
Auntie B: *shocked* STOP. Do. Not. Touch. The. Small. One.
Mother of 2: Huh? Why?
Auntie B: She is not very friendly towards strangers. I'm not sure if she would bite.
Mother of 2: But she's so cute!! *still pushes her 2 kids towards me*
Auntie B: *Blood boils* If you want to touch, please touch the other 2. They are the friendly ones.
Paw & Zen: *wag tails furiously*

At this point of time, our mummy came back with food in her hands. Auntie B just pulled us away from the lady w/o much more talking. When Auntie B relate the whole conversation to mummy, she laughed so hard. Knowing me, I'd probably charge towards anybody (and everybody) that tries to approach me with sudden movements w/o even giving me a chance to sniff them first. I'm not unfriendly; I'm just wary and I don't like strangers. *flashes poor thing watery angel eyes (think Puss in Boots)*

So people out there, if you see me please do let me sniff you first before you touch me. I'm just a schmall schmall cutesy cutesy girl, but that doesn't mean I can be toyed around. I'd warm up to you very soon after if you promise to be gentle and let me sniff you first. (Nat: It's proven to be true. When we brought her go dogruns, she'd take the initiative to go around sniffing other humans but if the other party did as I told them to, meaning let Patches sniff out their hands first and no sudden movement, Patches would let them pat her and after that she'd come running back to me.)

Hello all.. Phew!~ Been like almost a month since I last update here! Well.. mummy had been busy with her wedding and all, so I guess now it's time we settle down and resume normal life =)

For starters, wanna share some pics with you all..

This is our precious P after her bathing =P In case you didn't know or haven't noticed, our P is really quite tiny underneath all her fluffy fur. Seen here is her sitting in mummy's small basin. Look how much space still left around her. I swear she could use it as her bed even, if not for the fact that mummy need to use the basin every day..

Moving on, mummy had also recently gotten me a Nylabone Wishbone. See me enjoying it:

It's really yummy as you can see =) And oh, Auntie E passed a new comb to mummy to try out on me. I heard mummy said this works better than the furminator on my coat, maybe because I don't have wooly type of undercoat.. My coat is rough, and so is my undercoat.. Hmmm.. You be the judge.

Recently mummy came home smelling weird.. Well, not smelly, but just smells of other stranger pawfriends (if you know what I mean). After much probing from us, she confessed that she had been seeing 2 other belly friendly Goldies. And she didn't even brought me along! How unfair! She did showed us some pics though..

Look at the handsome duo! Mummy says they're the sweetest dogs ever! Riiiiiiiiight.. like they could be any sweeter than me? Anyway, I just can't wait to meet them. I hope they are doing well, cos mummy told me they are not exactly the luckiest dogs around. Will definitely keep you boys in our prayers every night..

Zen: long walks, FURminating & so much more!

Hello everydoggies! Been some time since we last updated. Last Saturday Mummy brought us to Aunty E's house. There we met Paw korkor, Yoyo, Baby, Harmony, Bond and Coco =) We hung out together while waiting for the hoomans to take their dindins. After their dindins, they brought us for a long long loooooooong stroll along the east coast beach. The weather was good and it was windy.

We walked from McD's all the way to the hawker centre; to and fro. Many hoomans went "Oooh" and "Aaaah" in awe as we walked pass as we were in a group of 8 and consists of 6 diff breeds. It was so nice to get all the attention, and I love getting petted =)

This pic is taken at Aunty E's house after we returned from our long walk. See puppy Yoyo so exhausted. I was kind enough to lend him my precious thigh to rest on =P

On Sunday, Mummy went to collect a comb called the FURminator and tried it on me.

She only managed to collect a small 'furball'.. Will try again next week and share some pics.

Mummy promised to fill it to the brink, hahahas.. This is foodie heaven. Okay, prior to this, many had asked Mummy why get a freezer when we have ample space in our current family fridge to store meats? The story was that Ah-Ma (daddy's mum) had quarrelled with my Mummy over the usage of the freezer compartment. Poor mummy had to give in and got us another freezer just to store our meats, and also some ice-cream and frozen yogurts that mummy occasionally buy. But hey, look at the bright side, mummy have no excuse not to wake up earlier to go do market-ing on weekends now =P

If you didn't know already know, let me tell you. It's already torturous enough to spoon-feed us our Dr B, now our mummy is starting to bottle-feed us! But much to our dismay, I don't really mind the bottle-feeding cos it's just yummy! Guess what? mummy bottle-fed us Vitagen last night! (Nat: I beg to differ! Both the girls have beards, and they developed smelly-fishy breath cos their beards are always wet and.. dirty. By spoon-feeding them, they no longer have bad breath! And the bottle-feeding is just for fun)

Oh, if you remember this and this, the same puffy boy actually came over again earlier yesterday afternoon. His name is Muffin, and I really like him =) I think Patches hates him to the core, but hey, whats new? She hates everybody to the core. But she does warm up after, like, 5 minutes later. So that's not too bad. And I certainly do hope Patches would warm up faster, as not to scared my doggy friend-friends away.

I hope mummy would pet-sit more doggy friend-friends so that I could have more playmates.. but I'm not sure about sharing her love and attention.. Hmmm..

Over the weekend, brought the girls out for some fun.

Friday night, went for karaoke session at KBOX Ang Mo Kio with Patches tagged along :P I don't suppose they allow pets, but she was well hidden in my huge sling bag. See the 'sian' look on her face after 3hours of non-stop singing from us humans.

Saturday morning, brought the girls to ECP for a swim. Yoyo hurt his hind legs so we had to cut the session short. No pictures to share, as B didn't send me any from her DSLR..

Only realised i got this bad bad bruises on my right thigh.

I think I must have been scratched by one of the dogs during the swimming session =( Looks like a victim of abuse, eh? =P

Zen: soft stools

We've been having soft stools since Sunday =( It was quite bad.. especially when Patches' poo poo has got those jelly-like thingy and is smelly. We have not had smelly poo poo since we were on BARF.

Mummy had decided to fast us yesterday morning.. When she return home, she cooked chicken porridge for us.

It was yummy, and mummy seldom cooks for us.. We showed our gratitude by licking our bowls squeaky clean after our meals. Mummy was happy. She continued to feed us on raw chicken this morning, and will monitor again..

I think many have been commenting on how good the girls look now; how glossy their coats are, how soft it is, no more strong offensive BO and how darker Patches' browns had became. These I think are the benefits from feeding raw to them. I started them on Dr. B's patties, which was easy and convenient to feed. Now I'm trying to switch them to raw meaty bones; meaning that I actually went marketing for meats like an 'auntie' *blushes* *no offense, people.. *

I am most proud of how many people have benefited from feeding their dogs raw by reading this blog.. A big thank you to you all for trusting and believing in what I had penned (or typed, forthat matter) here, and actually went to try out Dr. B's patties. Another big thank you to Alfred for bringing in the yummies for the furbies! To C and A, you know who you are, I hope your furbies are better now =)

Patches: Splurge on meeeeeeee

Recently mummy had bought some stuff for me =) First off, she bought this CCS Ice on Ice Leave-in Detangler.

Auntie A had passed to Mummy about half a bottle of this Ice on Ice to try on me.. Well, she tried and she liked it a lot. We couldn't find the concentrated type, so Mummy bought the diluted one. After using this on my coat, daily brushing is so much more enjoyable for me =)

Next up, Mummy bought a Spa Lavish Cologne to try out on us. It was an impulsive purchase as we do not need cologne, but it actually turned out to be a great product for my coat! After spraying on this product, my coat felt so much more softer and looked shinier =) Mummy was at first wondering, how come my coat suddenly turned so soft and shiny.. then she realised it was this cologne that does the trick. Even Daddy's friend, Auntie E, also commented that my fur looked so nice. Mummy is very happy with this cologne =)

Then last night, Mummy went to APC at Toa Payoh to hunt for a proper pin brush for me. She couldn't find a CCS pin brush, so she got the next best thing: the #1 All Systems pin brush.

I love this brush very much because it glides on easily through my fluffy coat and does not make me pain pain. Cheers to Mummy for splurging on the good items for me =)

Hi all..

Mummy bathed me again last night, after giving me a good long walk and a good meal. This time round she make sure that I am matt-free before stepping out of the house; and matt-free before stepping into the shower. She also used 2 shampoos and 2 conditoners on me. After that she blowdry me with the hairdryer. Now I looked like this:

Nat: Review on Root's shampoo

As promised earlier in this post, I'm gonna review about the shampoo. But before that, I have finally made up my mind to add myself as an author in this blog and to keep my other blog solely for my own. Matters pertaining to my girls will be posted here. As not to confuse you all, will be adding our names in front of each title.

Okay. So here goes the review. I tried the Roots whitening shampoo on Patches last Sunday. It's quite watery, lathered really well, and easy to rinse off. I don't know what's the craze about the thick shampoo, but I do prefer the more watery ones as I find that those thick ones are very hard to lather up and very hard to rinse off completely. Then I tried the conditioner on Patches. For some reasons it didn't went on as well as I had expected it to, and I hate massaging thick conditioners into Patches' skin cos it'll be very very hard to wash off later. Yesh, I am lazy. I dilute the conditioner a little, and the application was easier. Left it in her coat for about 10 minutes. Then rinse her squeaky clean and ran a chamois over her to soak up the water trapped in her coat.

Then came the blow-drying part. I didn't know what went wrong, but this is the first time Patches gotten so many matts on her! *pulls own hair* I did brushed her thoroughly before I brought her for bath, and did not find any bad matts on her. Now it's everywhere! How come the groomer Serene can do such a good job on her, using the same shampoo and conditioner, how come I can't? I felt like crying while I blowdry her. She seems moody too, as I was taking too long to dry and dematt her. It did cross my mind that if I should have just shave her down and save the trouble of the long daily grooming, but part of my heart actually aches.

I know can't be lazy if I want to grow her for long, but what actually went wrong? I spent 2 days dematting her; it was heart-wrenching to see her face looked so gloomy while I dematt. I'm going to try the same shampoo and conditioenr on her again this coming weekend. If it still matts that bad, I swear will send her for grooming to shave away the matts. *sigh*

Zen: Yogurt went to Auntie B's

The day came when Auntie B came over to take Yogurt home. It was last Saturday morning, when mummy woke us up to snap some pics. She was mumbling to Yogurt, telling him to be a good boy when he goes home. Well I don't really like puppes that much, so I am glad that Yogurt is not in our house with us. He kept disturbing me that I had to growl at him to ask him to stay away.

Hope Yogurt would be happy at his perm home. Mummy is just his temporary mummy for 3 days while Auntie B prepares her house for him.

Zen: puppy in the house!

Yesterday evening mummy rushed home to bring us out for vet visit with Dr Hsu of The Animal Clinic at Katong. Dr Hsu drew some blood from one of P's front leg (mummy said it's for the heartworm test). Poor little P whined her head off! Lucky the test came back negative; means P is free from heartworm and mummy can put her on heartworm prevention. Then Dr Hsu proceed to check on P's hind legs and said that she is in good shape eventhough her hinds are taller. Patches weights 3kg to-date.

Then it was my turn for checkup. Dr Hsu touched my hind legs too, as mummy was a little over concerned about it. She claims that my hinds are a lil shaky and bended. Mummy brought me to the back lane for a short walk to demonstrate to Dr Hsu on the way I walk. He assured mummy that my hind legs are fine. *phew!* And I weight about 8kg to-date =)

Zen: big mistake!

Mummy & Auntie B brought us on a loooooong looooong car ride yesterday.. We went to fetch Auntie B & Paw at Marine Terrace, then went to Pasir Ris Farmway 1, then to WCDR. Mummy got lost on the way to WCDR >.<: Mummy introduced me to Tristan the 3 months old Border Collie. Boy was he huge for a 3mths old pup! He is as big as Paw, and so so so cute. But nah, I'm a big girl. I don't like 'schmall schmall' puppies. Paw & I ran around as usual, and showed everybody the way we play; =) Tristan left shortly after that.

Then mummy gotten this treat-ball from someone (cus Auntie B forgotten to bring ours), and decided to stuff some dehydrated pig's heart into it to get me to fetch it. BIG MISTAKE!!!! My treat ball gotten snatched away by a big doggie while I wasn't looking. The big doggie tried to bite Paw when he was just passing by; I guess she must've thought Paw had wanted to snatched the ball away from her. Everybody panicked and went beserk; and then Mummy got some scoldings from Auntie B..

Another auntie came by and asked Mummy if I am pregnant. PREGNANT?! ME?! I used to be fatty fat fat, but now I am fitty fit fit.. I am no where closed to being labeled as FAT, and now I am pregnant?! Auntie B and Mummy was like.. "duh!~"

We left WCDR at about 630pm, and headed to Loving Pets to drop off Patches for her bathing time (Mummy's too lazy to bathe & blow-dry her). Oh, before I forget, mummy commented that Patches doesn't matt as easily since the full grooming session last week. She also told Auntie B that now she enjoys giving Patches the daily combing cus she doesn't need to spend another hour trying to dematt her anymore. Auntie Serene, the groomer at Loving Pets, told mummy that she had been using the Roots Holistic Shampoo & Conditioner on Patches. Here's a picture of it:

Natural Herbal White Shampoo & Herbal Conditioner

If you noticed the price tag on the shampoo, yep you've read it correctly; it's only $15!! That's about half of what mummy had been paying for a bottle of 400ml Spa Lavish shampoo. Well, she have not tried her hands on using this shampoo yet, but seeing is believing as per the results shown on Patches now. Her fluffy fur is now so soft and ..err.. fluffy. Mummy's going to bathe Patches herself using this shampoo & conditioner on this coming weekend. Well, I do hope that it will work well on Patches.. Else mummy would be yelling at me everytime I play too rough with Patches cus she claimed that I made Patches' fur matted =(

Mummy came across this post in the forum she frequents; and had asked me to help spread the words. There is this German Shepherd by the name of Nena and she is lost. Nenais 9 years old, with microchip, and was lost on 11 june ( wednesday). If you have seen her, please contact her owner Winnie at 9838-3775. Oh, btw, Nena stays at Hougang area.
